EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon Track Club Elite's Hassan Mead placed 11th overall in the 5,000-meter final at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar on Monday. Mead hit the tape in a time of 13 minutes, 27.05 seconds.

Mead, a 2016 Olympian, placed eighth in the second qualifying heat of the 5,000m with a time of 13:22.11 at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar. His performance secured a spot in Monday's final of the 5,000m at 11:20 a.m. (PDT).

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon Track Club Elite will be represented by Neil Gourley and Andrew Osagie at the British Athletics Championships in Birmingham, England, on Aug. 24-25.

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon Track Club Elite coach Mark Rowland admitted that things “got a little messy” during competition at the U.S. Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa, last week.
However, the overall results were positive.
